Highlights of 2019 - Watching Families Grow

One of the most important parts of this job is capturing memories for families for years to come. I’m very fortunate to have some very loyal clients that bring their kids back to me session after session from newborn to birthdays, Christmas sessions and more. I wanted to write a blog showing just how important it is to capture your child at every stage of development, and what better way to do that than to show you an example! Harrison came to me at birth, and has come back to me several times for other sessions.

Here is a side by side of Harrison from birth to his first birthday. What a big change to see the photos side by side!

I next saw Harrison and his family for his first Christmas mini session. He was such a charmer and we got some beautiful shots, including family shots with mom and dad!

We took a family portrait at this session too, and what a big change from the Christmas family portrait.

He loved climbing around on the bed set, and he gave me lots of sweet smiles. We took a family portrait at this session too, and it was so cool to be able to go back and look at the difference from one Christmas ago! Harrison has grown so much!

Putting the family portraits side by side really shows us how much Harrison has grown!

Here are the first and latest photos I ever took of Harrison. It’s amazing how much he’s grown and what a handsome little boy he’s turning into!

I’m a firm believer that it’s important to take photos of your kids and family (and yes, you should get in those photos so your kids can see you through the years when they get older!) - and I can’t wait to see Harrison at his next session for Easter!
