The beautiful Akerele family came for their maternity session last month in anticipation of their newest family member! We did a few outfit changes and Tolulope was stunning in each and every outfit. We also did some graduation photos for Anthony’s PhD, which we joked was like another baby! I think my favourite images are the family ones though because you can tell how excited Zion is to be a big brother! I can’t wait to photograph their new addition. Congratulations Akerele family!

Last month Maverick came to visit me for a newborn photography session at 3 weeks old. He was so sweet and his Mom and Dad were obviously SO smitten! We stuck mostly to neutrals and whites, which really left the focus on Maverick and his beautiful Mom and Dad. We did a mixture of wrapped prop poses and a few posed photos on fabric backdrops, and I think they turned out so sweet! Welcome to the world, gorgeous baby boy!

Lily brought her newborn baby little brother Patrick to see me last week when he was just 10 days old! She was SO proud to be a new big sister, and was so sweet with him. Patrick was so cooperative and relaxed during his session. We got through a lot of different set ups, including a lovely blue, a speckled beige from Freebird Prop Shoppe, and a neutral beige. We also did some prop shots, including in a bucket set up from DIH Photography Props. Mom and Dad picked a white backdrop for their family photos, which I think turned out so sweet!

I can’t believe that Ivy is ONE already! This year seemed to fly! I photographed Ivy’s newborn photos last year and I can’t believe how fast time has gone! Ivy came by for first birthday portraits in her very stylish Hadley Rose Designs romper and headband in purple. She was super smiley and hammed it up for the camera! :) We did some family photos with her gorgeous Mom and Dad! What a lovely family. Thanks guys for coming back to me again with precious Ivy. Happy Birthday sweetheart!

Olivia came for her newborn photos not long ago and she did so well I had her come back the next day to be a model in my upcoming behind-the-scenes video! We did a variety of set ups and different colours and they all looked great on her! Then at the end of the session we had her big brother come for some family and sibling photos. I think it all turned out great - what do you think?
