Courtney and Chris were married this past weekend! It was a beautiful day and there was some reprieve from the heat, which was lovely! The rain managed to stay away until just after we were done with the photos, which was perfect timing! Chris and his groomsmen wore beautiful navy blue suits from The Model Shop, and Courtney wore a stunning gown from The Model Shop, while her bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses from Azazie! They had a lovely church ceremony at Holy Redeemer, and the reception and dance was held ad the Harbour Breeze Catering + Banquet Hall. It was an incredible meal! We did family, bridal party and couples photos in Brigus. We couldn’t ask for more beautiful light and such a incredible setting for photos. We walked along the ocean coastline and then headed over to the Brigus Tunnel.

The day was filled with lots of love and laughter, and gorgeous special touches. Here are a few of my favourites for a quick sneak peek for the happy couple. Congratulations Courtney and Chris!

Lily brought her newborn baby little brother Patrick to see me last week when he was just 10 days old! She was SO proud to be a new big sister, and was so sweet with him. Patrick was so cooperative and relaxed during his session. We got through a lot of different set ups, including a lovely blue, a speckled beige from Freebird Prop Shoppe, and a neutral beige. We also did some prop shots, including in a bucket set up from DIH Photography Props. Mom and Dad picked a white backdrop for their family photos, which I think turned out so sweet!

I can’t believe that Ivy is ONE already! This year seemed to fly! I photographed Ivy’s newborn photos last year and I can’t believe how fast time has gone! Ivy came by for first birthday portraits in her very stylish Hadley Rose Designs romper and headband in purple. She was super smiley and hammed it up for the camera! :) We did some family photos with her gorgeous Mom and Dad! What a lovely family. Thanks guys for coming back to me again with precious Ivy. Happy Birthday sweetheart!

Chloe came by for her first birthday portraits and cake smash session the other day! Boy did she have a lot to say and we had a lot of fun! We did some portraits and then brought out her cake! She was delighted with it, and dug in! There were sprinkles everywhere! Once she was done with her cake she had a little dip in the tub and made quite a splash :) Happy birthday sweet girl!

Emily came for her newborn photography swaddle session. We did a bunch of different wrapped set ups! We used a gorgeous white flokati rug from Luneberry, a lovely tiny bed from DIH-Photography Props, and a ton of sweep accessories like bows, wraps and layers. We then had her big brother come for a couple of sibling shots, with a very special momento included in those images. Big brother also wanted a photo with his panda, so we happily obliged :) It’s so fun to capture their sweet preferences at every stage of life!

Reese came to visit me for her newborn baby and family photography session a little while ago, and was she ever an angel! We got through a tonne of different poses and then the family poses as well. We used a neutral beige, a purple and a lovely pink backdrop set from Freebird Prop Shoppe. Mom and Dad also made a special request for the bunny set from AGK Originals, and we did another couple of set ups using a lovely little bed prop, a heart prop and an antique quilt. Then we did the family poses on a charcoal backdrop and I think it really pops.

Owen came by for his first birthday cake smash and portraits last weekend and oh boy was he ever cute. I’ve never seen a kid SO into smashing up a cake. He was on a mission and loving it! We did a collage of him holding the O-N-E, which I love as a special keepsake. Then once the cake was thoroughly smashed, he had a little dip in my tub with his ducky! The blue ombre cake is from Sugar Mama’s!

Olivia came for her newborn photos not long ago and she did so well I had her come back the next day to be a model in my upcoming behind-the-scenes video! We did a variety of set ups and different colours and they all looked great on her! Then at the end of the session we had her big brother come for some family and sibling photos. I think it all turned out great - what do you think?
